Hey Ben,

I'd love to book you for my rehearsal dinner in Fredericksburg on September 23, 2016. We love your sound! What are your booking rates? The party is at the Pecan Grove Store (http://www.pecangrovestore.com) from 6:30pm-9:30pm.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Ben,

You man not remember me, but Ronnie & Michelle Woods connected me to you to play at the Ignite Rocket program dinner a few years ago. Are you interested in taking any more gigs these days? I have a wine club behind the Whistle Pik Gallery on Main and I am looking for some artists to play in the courtyard from 5-7 pm occasionally on Saturdays. Let me know if that appeals to you at all. - Carson

We saw your performance Monday (3/7) in Fredericksburg and were blown away with how great your and your whole band played. I saw BB King and Buddy Guy in Tampa 6 years ago, and your performance was even more fun! We just drove back to Houston and passed Beckendorf Road east of Columbus. Any relation?
Thanks for a rocking performance Monday! David Dale

I told her I would pass that along to you. Keep on rockin in the free world!

I NEED Cold As Stone!!! Please :)
I heard "Run Away" twice in early June, and was never able to find out your name until this week. Jan at KFAN was a goddess, and said the song is on Cold as Stone. I want to order a cd for the Hill Country friend who started me listening to the Fan.
THANK YOU!!!

We're coming in to Fredericksburg on the 24th. I see that your website says the full band will be at Hondo's on Sat. the 24th but Hondo's website says closed at 3 for a private party. Is this correct? Hate to miss the full band but we will come to Woodrose on Sat. afternoon. Love your music!

Hey, Ben.... It's good to see you...even if it is online...and hear you're still creating that sound we all were groovin' to from way back in the proverbial day.

I still think of all the great musicianship, and friends from Bruno's.

One particularly fond memory I have is of an evening that you sat down
at the piano and did an intimate set. The crowd was just blown away.
That was at least 25 years ago. I can't say many shows have made that
sort of impression on me. Thank you for pouring your heart out for us.

Take Care,
Dee Anne (Patti Brown's Daughter)

Ben, The Gillespie County Historical Society/Pioneer Museum is holding its 57 Annual Historic Holiday Home Tour on Sat. Dec. 6. We would like to invite you to play for an hour or so at one of the homes during the Tour. The Tour is one of the major fundraisers for the Pioneer Museum and usually has 1,100 to 1,200 people in attendance. I am asking you early so that we may give you credit in out Home Tour booklet that will go to print soon. We will be happy to sell your cd's in the small Museum Christmas Store that will be at one of the houses on the Tour.
It would be very generous and kind of you to donate an hour of your time and talent to help the Pioneer Museum with this fundraiser.
Please let me know soon so we can give you credit if you choose to help out.
I appreciate your talent.
Sincerely,
Gladys Frels-Home Tour Chairman

I always liked the song I used to hear on the radio. I think it was like "diamond in the rough serande".
Is this the name of the song and is it available on Itunes? How could I get this song?

I found your name on the Hill Country Scene, so I went to this website and listened. I really enjoyed your music. The reason I am writing you is that I am looking for local talent to possibly play at our park. We recently finished our dance hall and are looking for some entertainment for our RVer's. Please let me know if you have to have a certain amount of attendees and how much would you charge for either 2 hours or 4 hours. Thank you for your time, and thank you for good music.

Noel introduced me to you at Silver Creek a couple of weeks ago. I am impressed how someone who plays as often as you do still has that passion to play as if it were your first time. I got back into playing the drums after hanging it up for 30 years and have regained my passion for playing. Thanks for sticking with it . It shows in your performance. See you at Hondo's tonight.

Here are venue profile links to the two venues I book, including pay, times, seasons, etc.  Please read the profiles in their entirety, as I get entirely too many submissions to keep answering the same questions over and over in individual emails, b/c artists do not read them before entering into an dialogue with me.  These venues profiles are also on Reverb Nation.

In order to book you, here's what I'll need from you:

Your avails that correspond to the days each venue hosts live music
Configuration/instrumentation for each of your proposed avails
Cell phone # of tour manager to advance dates with the week of shows
Confirmation that you do travel with PA, since neither of these venues has house sound

Ben -

My wife and I are probably gonna be in Luckenbach on our 25th anniversary on Nov 29th. It's been a touch-stone for many years. If I'm reading it properly, you are scheduled to be singing there.

Miriam is arguably one of the better female vocalists that gig in the Dallas area. She's the anti-diva and does R&B very well. If per chance we get to see you, I wanted you to consider if you might invite her to sing some BGVs for fun. She has no idea that I'm writing this...

We've been around the block and would totally understand if you as a working artist weren't into this kind of thing. However, maybe you'd think it was fun. So, this note is really to just ensure you knew what was up if we show up.

The very last/bottom audio link is her singing some soulful stuff. So if you want to check it out...

May 16, 2011

Hello! I am Becky Howard, we've met several times at various venues around Fredericksburg area. My husband Joe and I have a small, *small!, ranch outside of Fredericksburg with four b and b cabins on it.

Well, last year I applied to the US military legal powers that be to donate our cabins for one weekend per quarter to wounded warriors. After much red tape, blessings, and amazing grace, we got approved. Last Friday we were asked if we could host our first group of severely injured Warriors on june 3 and 4. Of course, we said yes!

This is something we are doing on our own, not part of a promotion or whatever. We have volunteers who are going to do cowboy barbeques, we are donating our cabins and time and whatever it takes, to give these families a special weekend here.

We were told that most Wounded Warrior programs were not for the severely burned or wounded, and did not include families in the programs. So, we are unique in that we are welcoming both.

What I am looking for is someone to volunteer to play in an outdoor setting, under the stars, with limited electrical hookups for about 30 people, warriors and wives and children, and volunteers, for a couple of hours each evening.

Here is what to expect: we can feed ya, good food, we can thank ya, with many thanks, and the soldiers who will be here may be severely burned, lost limbs, scarred, and these are the soldiers who will not be seen in public due to their injuries. They have no desire to go to town, don't want to shop or party, they are taking the opportunity to spend some r and r with their wives and children and loved ones or caregivers.

Not a big crowd, no publicity, we are not doing this to promote anything, it is just an opportunity to thank these men and women for the sacrifices they have made. And I have been informed that the warriors who come here have sacrificed more than most.

If anything, it may be a difficult thing to be a part of this because of the extent of injuries.... and the hurting families. I understand that many people can't be a part of this weekend, but those that can, can share something special with a few people at a time...

If you cannot be a part of this, and I thought of you because I think you have a compassionate nature, an ability to make people feel at ease, and a wonderful talent to share, - but I would appreciate it if you could recommend someone else who may be willing to volunteer for a little while.

Joe and I aren't the rich folks from the city who moved to Fredericksburg. We are just ordinary working people who want to do something for our military and thank them for the sacrifices they have made. We are donating food, fun, and our facilities to make that happen.

We'd like it if you would consider joining us for this special weekend...

Thanks,
Becky Howard

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to your smooth blues this past weekend at the biker charity event at the Tin Star Ranch. Of the 3 bands that played (which were all awesome!)we favored your band the most. Thank you for making our stay such a pleasant and relaxing one. KUDOS !!!

I just wanted to say how much my wife and I enjoyed your music Saturday nufght at the Cabernet Grill. We were celebrating our anniversary this weekend in the hill country. We were the couple that inquired about Jimmy Buffett.

Thank You for a memorable evening and music.

Hi... I found a few sealed copies of the old vinyl album 99.5 KISS homegrown album from 1981 stashed away with a bunch of old stuff. I only want to keep one for myself, and I'd hate to throw perfectly good records away, so I'm zapping out emails to the folks who recorded on that album to see if they want one of the copies. I don't want any money for them,,,,, the only thing I ask is if you still have a good recording of your track from that album, then please give the other folks a chance to claim one who may have lost their copy over the years... These recordings might have a trainload of sentimental value to some folks.
Best Regards

Hi Ben. My husband and I were in Fredericksburg for a few days this past weekend and just happened to stop by Silver Creek for dinner on Monday night. We ended up staying until the end of your show. It was great. We are looking forward to our next trip to the Hill Country.
Thanks for a great evening.
